MEMBERSHIP ADMISSION RULES

These Membership Admission Rules are established to regulate the admission, rights, and responsibilities of members of the Malaysia Naturopathic Association (MNA) in accordance with the Constitution of the Organization.
1. Eligibility for Membership
1.1 Ordinary Member
An applicant must:
Be a Malaysian citizen
Be at least 18 years of age
Agree with and support the objectives of the Association
Have no record of serious criminal misconduct
Undertake to comply with the Constitution and rules of the Association
1.2 Associate Member
Associate membership may be granted to:
Individuals with an interest in naturopathy
Related healthcare practitioners
Students in relevant fields
Overseas applicants (subject to Committee approval)
Associate Members may have limited voting rights as determined by the Committee.
1.3 Honorary Member
Honorary membership may be conferred upon individuals who:
Have made significant contributions to naturopathy
Have contributed to the development of the Association
Are nominated and approved by the Committee
2. Admission Procedure
To apply for membership, an applicant must:
Complete the official Membership Application Form
Provide required identification documents
Submit relevant professional qualifications (if applicable)
Be proposed and supported by an existing member (if required)
Submit the application to the Secretariat
All applications are subject to review and approval by the Committee.
The Committee reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its discretion and is not obligated to provide reasons for rejection.
3. Membership Fees
Upon approval, the applicant shall pay:
Entrance Fee: RM50
Annual Fee: RM70
Membership becomes effective only after full payment is received.
Fees paid are generally non-refundable unless otherwise determined by the Committee.
4. Rights of Members
Ordinary Members are entitled to:
Attend General Meetings
Vote in meetings (where eligible)
Participate in Association programs and activities
Receive official communications and notices
Apply for certifications or recognition (if applicable)
Associate and Honorary Membersā rights shall be determined by the Committee.
5. Responsibilities of Members
All members shall:
Uphold the objectives and reputation of the Association
Comply with the Constitution and decisions of the General Meeting and Committee
Pay membership fees on time
Refrain from unauthorized use of the Associationās name or logo
Avoid any conduct that may damage the Associationās reputation
6. Suspension and Termination
Membership may be suspended or terminated if a member:
Submits written resignation
Fails to pay fees as required
Violates the Constitution or rules
Engages in misconduct or unlawful activity
Before suspension or termination, the member shall be given an opportunity to provide explanation or appeal in accordance with the Constitution.
7. Personal Data
Members agree that personal data submitted to the Association may be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and the Associationās Privacy Policy.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their personal information remains accurate and up to date.
8. Authority of the Committee
The Committee shall have the authority to:
Interpret these Membership Admission Rules
Approve or reject applications
Determine membership categories
Suspend or terminate membership in accordance with the Constitution
All decisions of the Committee shall be final unless overturned by a General Meeting.
9. Amendments
These Membership Admission Rules may be amended from time to time by decision of the Committee and/or General Meeting in accordance with the Constitution.
